I have been wanting to modify my accord for a few months now. I have learned that the best things i could do to improve my performance without putting stress on the engine or messing up the engines comp are things like :
cold air intake
header
exhuast
performance chip
suspension
underdrive pulleys
I’ sure their are tons of other things. But which of the things would be the best for my buck? I am also not sure as to which parts would be optimal for my accord. Can someone please explain somethings to me in detail?

Intake and exhaust will not do much. Its not worth the money Honda’s are not good cars for racing. Also don’t get a huge muffler for it because it sounds terrible and it also reduces back pressure which in turn reduces torque. Chip will maybe give you 15 hp but that’s not significant. If you want a car that’s going to perform look into getting a corvette z-06, pricey but worth it. It sounds like you are looking for performance and the vette will educate you on acceleration.

Thanks for posting this, it’s just what I was googling. This is why I like blogs, you get a personal opinion from someone rather than a corporation trying to sell you on something, or an idea. I’ll be reading your blog more often!
