Air-shocks for 1970 Chevy Nova?
sugar_piggie_18 asked:
What air-shocks will work on a 1970 Chevy Nova with multi-leaf suspension?
What air-shocks will work on a 1970 Chevy Nova with multi-leaf suspension?
The ones that are offered at my local automotive store only fully extend to 21 inches, so they are too short.
Does anyone know if/what air-shocks from a different car/truck will work?
Thanks

I had a friend who had a 1969 Nova and he installed a set of Gabriel Hijackers. You can always get shock extensions for the set you have now.

Had air shocks on mine and took them off. Rough going down the road, won,t let chassis work properly around corners and terrible trying to get traction on launch. Get regular shocks and if the rear end is sagging go ahead and replace the leaf springs. Cost more to do this but well worth it in long run.
