Can I put 92 Ford Taurus/Mercury struts on my ‘92 Lincoln Continental?
notoriousabc7 asked:
The air ride suspension on my 1992 Lincoln Continental are going out. The individual air struts are around $180 ea. There are spring conversion kits for $500, but I don’t want to spend that much. I read somewhere that I can use taurus or mercury struts. Can I? Do they bolt up the same? Thanks.

A quick search of the internet shows that good quality strut assemblies with springs for a Taurus/Sable are going to run about $500- also.
Keep in mind that you need the springs as well as the struts. Without the springs, your are looking at about half that price, but you need the springs too.
