how do you remove the steering wheel from a 1993 buick roadmaster?

im trying to replace the steering wheel from my 1993 buick roadmaster. i would like to know how to remove it. i have removed the bolts behind the horn but the wheel won’t budge. it seems to be more bolts or something holding it in place. what am i missing

    Does it have an airbag? I think those bolts are for the airbag module, if I understand you right. Anyway, the steering wheel is attached by one large nut right in the center, and it will be covered up by the airbag or the horn pad. So you need to get that horn pad out of the way, or airbag if it’s equipped, and then you spin that center nut off. Then you need a special puller tool that has two bolts that ***** into the steering wheel on either side of the center shaft where the nut was. The puller tool basically pulls it off the steering column. The steering wheel is basically pressed onto the steering column and that center nut retains it. When you go to put the new steering wheel on, you use that large center nut to drive it back down onto the steering column shaft until secure.
