    Most likely the Idle air control valve. This is the part in the car that helps the ECu (brain) adjust idle electronically. Any qualified mechanic in your area should be able to fix it.

    buick is a good car dear.sounds like a fuel problem to me.if it starts then it dont sounds like ignition.try checking out the gas filter and the fuel pump regulator and see if someone can run a fuel pressure test on the engine.sounds like not enough fuel is reaching the injectors to keep it running.good luck .let me know if my advise works for you dear.u can e-mail me at (stallion1948_lloyd @yahoo.com.).

    Sounds like the brain box…go get a diagnostic check at a mechanic shop, cost about $75, unless you have the mechanic repair it, theres usually no charge.
