Is there any way to Raise your Car with Hydraulics or AirBags without screwing your suspension in the precess?

I am considering purchasing a car with a body kit that hasn’t lowered or had any mechanical mods (ie. the car runs great cause it hasn’t been f**ked with by a kid that doesn’t know what their doing)
So bodykit looks like it will stop me from going over certain speed bumps in my neighbor hood and else where around my city so i was wondering if there was a way to get hydraulics or air bags that dont alter your current suspension because I have heard that hydraulics expecially will mess with the general “bumpyness” or smoothness of the ride’s suspension and i really dont want that soo HELP =)
