looking to get my first lift kit for my 89 jeep cherokee, any suggestions?

Should I go with a body lift, or should i go with a suspension lift? I think i only want 3-3.5 inches of lift, so i can get my tires on there with out any problems. They are 30’s just so you know. I am also in college so money can be an issue sometimes, not all the time but lower price’s are nice. Thank you.
