I have a 97 Ford Expedition and the Air suspension keeps kicking out and i brought it to a Mechanic numerous times and i cant figure out why it keeps doing that. Every time i bring it in it kicks back on and its like nothings even wrong, Does anybody have any idea’s? Thanks

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer (2 wheel drive) that has a broken air suspension bag on the right rear. To replace the air suspension is very expensive. I wanted to know if I can fix the problem by installing “Coil Springs” instead. If so can I use coils springs from another Ford Expedition that did not come with the Air Suspension, or could I use coil springs from a Ford F-150 or F-250? I have found coil spring conversion kits on the internet (see below); however I think I can get them much cheaper from a wrecking yard. Lastly how difficult is it to install the coil springs?
