What other shocks besides the Lincoln Mark VIII rear shocks will fit on the Mark VIII. I read that the 97 Ford Thunderbird rear shocks will fit, but does it matter which ones? I installed a conversion kit in the rear end and removed the rear air ride. It has a bang in the rear end and I know it is the rear shock mounts and I wanted to replace the rear shocks and mounts. Thank you for any info you can provide for me! I would like to do this as cheap as I can and save my wallet.

I’m about to go pick up a Lincoln towncar signature series. the rear air bags are down I think …it could just be a line. How much would it cost to replace? Can we do it on our own? Is it possible to change to spring suspension? I love this ol 92. I know it will last me long time. I need to know. I need to know more about that year and make.
