asked: I currently do not own a motorcycle, but am looking to purchase my first to ride for a long daily commute (140 miles daily total). I really like the Harley-Davidson Iron 883 Sportster, but I have been hearing mixed reviews about them. I know with the air cooled engine, you will get more vibration. Also, I hear the suspension is rough. Would this be uncomfortable for a long ride? How would the Iron 883 compare to the liquid cooled Honda Shadow Phantom?
