Jeff asked:

Hey i have a 1992 chevy 1500 4X4 regular cab short box.
I currently have firestone rear air bag suspension to raise the vehicle when it is loaded, But i **** the ride (to bouncy) now for some reason i love the look of a truck jacked up in the rear so i want to get rid of the airbags and get lifting blocks. Pro comp has a 5.5 inch block set with U Bolts for the rear, can i use this safely? can i use my stock shocks and will this affect the drive shaft angle or 4×4? Your help would be greatly appreciated..

If I were you I wouldn’t get any bigger than a 3″block set. Anymore than that would look kind of weird with that big of a gap between the body and bumpers/frame. It would also look like too much of a difference between the front and rear. You could also get Add a Leaf spring packs for the rear. You won’t have any problems with the drive shaft angle with that.

i wouldnt go with blocks at all get springs in the back.. in my opinion i like the bds 6” lift with 5” springs…. blocks could possibly break or spit out ive seen it happen once but hear of if u major offroader.that doesnt mean itll happen to you just saying
