Which brand is best for car shocks? (G35 Coupe)?
Bob J asked:
I drive a 2003 G35 Coupe, and no I’m not looking for any super performance shocks I just want a comfortable ride, I’ve heard KYB is best but would that be better then the regular dealership shocks, and that monroe shocks are stiff?? My main factor is a smooth ride but if I can save alot of bucks while im at it why not? Also taking suggestions for other brands

Get discount suspension parts.
I agree with BILSTINE are exceptional dampers and shocks. However depends on what your trying to do with your car. TEIN coil overs and lowering springs might be what you really want if future modifications include stiffer ride and track driving. There are no real cheap alternatives TOKIO are the factory damper manufacture. Monroe would be a mistake on a G-35 even if available. Any replacement of shocks and struts or suspension height change also means a 4 wheel alignment
